Lamisil 250mg Tablets? Terbinafine, 14 Tablets Lamisil 250mg Tablets are used to treat a number of fungal infections of the skin and nails. Terbinafine, the active ingredient in Lamisil Tablets, is an antifungal medicine. Lamisil Tablets are taken by mouth. The usual dose is one tablet once a day for six weeks for fingernail infections and for twelve weeks for toenail infections. Lamisil Tablets should be taken with water. Some side effects may occur when taking Lamisil Tablets, but they are usually mild and go away after a short while. These include stomach upset, headache, and diarrhea. Serious side effects are rare. If you experience any of these, stop taking Lamisil Table Lamisil is prescribed for the external fungal infections: mycosis of hair, fungal infections of nails, and also pityriasis versicolor, as well as dermatomycosis of the body, legs, and feet.
